Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and support SEC filings and related disclosures, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, Section 16 filings, proxy statements, and annual climate sustainability report
- Cook up with Tax, Treasury, FP&A, Legal, Investor Relations, operational finance teams, and external auditors on financial reporting deliverables
- Coordinate with the quarterly earnings release process in coordination with Investor Relations
- Review peer filings and reporting practices to identify opportunities for improvement
- Review and validate XBRL tagging in financial statements and footnotes
- Prepare GAAP and SEC disclosure checklists and assist with accounting research and technical memos
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 3+ years of combined SEC reporting or public accounting experience
- 2+ years of experience with U.S. GAAP, SEC rules and regulations, and internal controls
- Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and SUMIF formulas
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA certification
- Oil & gas upstream accounting experience
- Experience with Workiva reporting software
- Strong analytical, organizational, time management, and communication skills
