Job Description
Located in Greenwood Village, CO
Annual Compensation: $125,000-$135,000 DOE
Responsibilities
- Aid in the preparation and review of the Quarterly and Annual Reports on Form 10-Q/K and manage the internal and external review for these documents and related releases.
- Aid in the review of quarterly presentations, call scripts and earnings releases.
- Review supporting documentation and analyses to support the financial statements, footnotes and MD&A disclosures, including disclosure checklists and tie-out binders.
- Maintain awareness of evolving accounting guidance and provide US GAAP interpretation.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during the annual year-end audit and interim reviews.
- Implement and maintain reporting procedures to comply with internal control requirements and continuously assess financial reporting processes for enhancements.
- Support month end and year end closing by accurately accounting for debt, intangible assets, goodwill, stock compensation, equity, and other transactions relevant to financial reporting.
- Review monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and related support schedules and account analyses.
- Assist with accounting and integration for acquisitions, divestitures, and other complex accounting events.
- Support management in completing special projects, ad-hoc reporting, and analysis requests, and other tasks as assigned.
- Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
Skills

- Strong attention to detail
- Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience with Oracle or other ERP systems (a plus)
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting
- CPA strongly preferred
- 3-5 years of experience with a public accounting firm with heavy exposure to SEC and financial reporting or at least 6 years of direct SEC financial reporting experience
