About the role

Thrive Therapies Group is a pediatric healthcare company working to make schools more equitable and inclusive for kids with disabilities. 46% of our students graduate from services each year, compared with about 8% nationally. We're building our Washington team and hiring COTAs to work alongside our OTs in elementary and middle schools in the Seattle, Tacoma, and Bremerton areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT services in schools under the supervision of a licensed OT, following each student's IEP and treatment plan
• Build fine motor, sensory, self-care, and participation skills so students can take part fully in their school day
• Work with teachers on classroom strategies and supports
• Track progress and write timely session notes
• Communicate regularly with your supervising OT about student progress and plan changes

Requirements

• Washington occupational therapy assistant license, or eligibility to obtain one
• NBCOT certification (COTA)
• Ability to pass a background check and fingerprinting
• Reliable transportation to assigned schools

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OTA program

Skills

• Pediatric or school-based experience preferred (new graduates welcome)
• Ability to collaborate with teachers on classroom strategies
• Strong documentation and note‑taking skills
• Effective communication with supervising OT and interdisciplinary team

Pay

$38–$52 per hour for part‑time and PRN positions; $65,000–$75,000 per school year for full‑time roles (W‑2).
