Position Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our fast-growing team. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude and strong problem-solving skills, as well as an active EPA Certification.
Job Responsibilities
- Diagnose causes of problems and/or failures in heating/air conditioning systems, refrigeration systems, and food service equipment, for the purpose of identifying equipment and/or systems repair and/or replacement needs with no mistakes/callbacks
- Perform maintenance and service repairs, install new units, or replace parts of existing units according to specifications of 15 tons+
- Maintain larger PM contracts with more than 5 units
- Repair or replace defective parts in units and equipment and their controls
- Service and troubleshooting mini-splits and/or replacing smaller RTU’s and mini-splits for 15 tons or less
- Communicate with Dispatch to ensure completion of scheduled jobs
- Maintain preventative maintenance schedules and procedures for customers
- Provide elite customer service to every customer encountered
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License w/acceptable driving record
- Active EPA Certification
- 5+ years’ of experience in a commercial HVAC setting
- OSHA 10 Certification
- Manufacturer Certification is preferred

This position reports to the local Branch Leader and is responsible for engaging with the service team and all of our customers.

- Elite level of customer service, to ensure we continue to be the FirstCall our customers make for their HVAC needs
- Ability to take lead over and teach helpers and tech I’s.
Physical Demands
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use their hands.
- The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit.
- The employee is continually required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
