Job Overview

Job Responsibilities
- Perform routine, and unscheduled, maintenance and repair of commercial systems including air-cooled chillers, centrifugal chillers, pumps, cooling towers, air handler units, valves, fan coil units, variable air volume systems, etc.
- Diagnose and repair of machine and equipment defects including electronic, mechanical, and electrical components related to these systems.
- Inspect and test system components to ensure proper operation, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct preventive maintenance, repair, installation, general servicing, and troubleshooting of mechanical HVAC systems.
- Aid in installing, retrofitting, and commissioning commercial chiller systems and related HVAC equipment.
- Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to assess and repair HVAC systems.
- Service, troubleshoot, and repair commercial/industrial Chiller and Refrigeration Equipment.
- Comfortable and knowledgeable in electrical including electrical components, timers, contactors, relays.
- Adhere to safety protocols and comply with regulatory requirements related to HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Responsible for high levels of customer satisfaction through direct, on-site, customer interface.
- Prepare and present detailed service reports to customers.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver License w/acceptable driving record
- Active EPA Certification
- 5+ years’ of experience in a commercial HVAC setting with Chillers
- OSHA 10 certification
- Technical training in HVAC or Refrigeration
- Available to work flexible hours and on-call shifts as needed
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
