Seasonal Weekend Sales Assistant

Pay

16‑17 years: £8.72 per hour. 18+ years: £13.39 per hour. This is a seasonal position lasting until 13 February 2027.

Schedule

Minimum 8 hours per week, weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Tills – serving customers with purchases or returns, checking that all items are complete and packing fragile items securely.
• Shop floor – assisting customers to find products, providing excellent memorable service to build customer loyalty and a genuine love for the products and people.
• Hosting – using iPad systems to order products for home delivery; providing a Made‑to‑Measure service for bespoke curtains and blinds to customer specifications; styling departments such as bedding displays to inspire customers and let them feel fabrics, ensuring they take the perfect items home.
• Stock and Delivery – physical role with some heavy lifting (customer‑facing, not warehouse‑only); merchandising, updating price changes, recovering the store after busy periods, taking in deliveries, checking stock control, ordering and carrying out shop‑floor replenishment while always keeping customers’ needs in mind.
