Seasonal Warehouse Associate

Essential Job Functions

• General Distribution Center work (picking, packing, material handling, induction, etc.)
  • Maintain minimum performance standards
  • Perform job with highest standards of quality and accuracy
  • Flexibility to work in any General Warehouse function
  • Use of Radio Frequency (RF) equipment, voice picking technology, pick to light and other warehouse management systems
  • Basic computer functions as needed
  • Certification on lift equipment if required
  • Safety compliance with Carter’s rules and procedures
• Other tasks as assigned

Knowledge, Skill, And Ability Requirements

• Minimum competencies: Basic working knowledge of computers, RF Scanners and Warehouse Management systems
• Proven team member with skills to multi-task
• Proficient reading skills
• Able to abide by Carter’s policies and procedures, specifically the attendance policy

Prior Work Experience And Educational Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred, not required
• Six Months Automated Distribution Center Experience Preferred

Physical and Work Demands

• Able to repetitively lift cases weighing up to fifty pounds
• Able to stand and work for long periods including daily overtime, holidays and overtime as required
• Able to work consecutive days during peak season
• Able to work in varying temperatures
• Comply with holiday and blackout periods as determined by Management
