About the Role

We're building a select team to staff and operate the Be Open Experience interactive booth at the 2026 US Open. The booth is a US Open-branded bodega experience celebrating New York’s diverse neighborhoods and cultures, inspired by the city’s iconic gathering places. Guests will take photos, collect stickers, and engage with the event’s theme: Celebrating Our New York Story.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests, share insights about New York’s neighborhoods and their connection to the US Open.
  • Invite guests to take photos in the booth and share them on social media.
  • Manage special guest and influencer meet-and-greets within the booth.
  • Encourage guests to provide contact information to redeem collectible stickers or giveaways.
  • Manage lines, ensure smooth operations, and handle booth technology (iPads, photo station).
  • Distribute stickers and maintain a positive, outgoing demeanor.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with fans and colleagues.

Requirements

  • Available to work on-site from August 23, 2026 – September 13, 2026 (Sun-Sat).
  • Able to attend on-site training on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 2:00 PM.
  • Comfortable standing for long periods.
  • Proficient with technology and mobile devices.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.

Pay

Hourly rate: $20.00 (non-exempt position).
