About the Role

We're building a select team to staff and operate the Be Open Experience interactive booth at the 2026 US Open. This booth is a US Open-branded bodega experience celebrating the theme "Celebrating Our New York Story," honoring the diverse cultures and neighborhoods that make New York City special. Guests will snap photos, collect stickers, and engage with the booth's interactive elements.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests into the booth to educate them about New York’s diverse neighborhoods and cultures and their connection to US Open tennis.
• Invite guests to snap photos in the booth and encourage them to share on social media.
• Manage special guests and influencer meet-and-greets inside the booth.
• Encourage guests to provide their contact information to redeem collectible tournament stickers or other giveaways.
• Manage lines and ensure smooth guest flow through the experience.
• Operate and troubleshoot booth technology, including iPads and photo stations.
• Distribute stickers and giveaways to guests.
• Maintain a positive, outgoing demeanor while interacting with fans and colleagues.

Requirements

• Must be available to work on-site from August 23, 2026, to September 13, 2026 (Sun-Sat).
• Must attend on-site training on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 2:00 PM.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Competent and comfortable with technology and mobile devices.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with fans and colleagues.
