Seasonal/Temporary Material Handler-Days (FHD)

This seasonal/ temporary Material Handler-Days (BHD) position is located in the USA - Malta, at 6 Stone Break Road.

Responsibilities

• Picking Orders: Accurately pick orders to fulfill client demands using a pallet jack, stage products in appropriate areas, stack, package, band, shrink wrap, and label products according to client requirements.
• Quality Control: Verify products and orders meet quality standards, report damages or discrepancies, and stack, package, shrink wrap, and label products as needed.
• Safety, Housekeeping, and Compliance: Execute safety protocols, maintain a clean, orderly work area, and comply with all Standard Operating Procedures, corporate policies, and OSHA/SDS Standards.
• Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain equipment safely and efficiently, including a pallet jack, and report any equipment issues.
• Maintenance: Assist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in unregulated temperatures.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to perform tasks in a timely manner.
• Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Skills and Abilities

• Basic to intermediate mathematical skills for verifying quantities and performing duties related to handling, storing, and distributing client products.
• Computer skills are not required.
• English language skills (reading, writing, and verbal).
• Strong physical abilities: occasional handling/fingering, sitting frequently, bending constantly, walking and standing, lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds, reaching above shoulder, reaching outward, squatting, or kneeling.

$24.75 hourly
