Seasonal/Temporary General Laborer - Utility

Seasonal/Temporary General Laborer - Utility position focused on general plant labor, clean-up, and supporting production needs. Candidates will be trained in various entry-level production roles and may fill in during vacations, absences, or increased production demands. Millwright experience and/or equipment operation experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• General labor and clean-up of production areas.
• Observe, monitor, and report conditions that could lead to product nonconformity or other irregularities.
• Operate heavy equipment/machinery safely and appropriately.
• Clean, inspect, and maintain/securing all equipment in compliance with MSHA, company policies, and guidelines.
• Replace or assist other workers as needed or directed.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Willing and able to work overtime and rotating shifts.
• Effective communication in both verbal and written form; ability to perform basic math functions.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to perform physical labor safely in noisy, dusty, and other potentially harsh working conditions.

Pay

Starting pay of $23.04 per hour.
