Seasonal Stockroom Assistant

About the role

Supports the smooth running of the stockroom and back-of-house areas. Ensures products are available, organized, and handled with care, enabling the shop floor team to deliver excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Support a smooth customer experience by ensuring stock is available and ready for the shop floor.
• Handle products with care to protect quality and brand standards.
• Work closely with shop floor teams to support replenishment and availability.
• Work cooperatively with stockroom and store colleagues.
• Communicate clearly and follow direction from Supervisors and Managers.
• Take part in training, briefings, and team meetings.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety in the stockroom.
• Complete stock tasks such as counts, price changes, and recalls as directed.
• Work efficiently to complete tasks while supporting the needs of the shop floor during busy periods.
• Follow Health & Safety, security, and stock handling procedures at all times.
• Report issues, risks, or maintenance concerns promptly.

Requirements

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, practical environment. Reliable, organized, and detail-focused. A supportive team player with good communication skills. Calm under pressure and willing to learn. Previous stockroom experience is helpful but not essential.
