Seasonal Service Team Member

About the role

As a team member in our Yuba City, CA store, you will deliver friendly customer service, assist customers in shopping and locating products, and ensure a fast and friendly checkout experience. You will also participate in merchandise duties, including truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining store recovery standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer service and help customers find what they’re looking for
• Ensure a fast and friendly checkout experience, including executing cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, and complete enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance, including the merchandise return/go back process and general store recovery
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements
• Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner, promoting a positive and inclusive environment
• Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production (preferred)
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to remain standing for long periods of time
• Ability to move throughout the store, including regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
• Capability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using a ladder or similar equipment
• Willingness to work in a public retail store setting, including climate-controlled public areas, non-climate-controlled stock rooms, and some outdoor work
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
• Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older

Pay

Total base pay range for this position: $16.90 - $19.70 per hour. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation in accordance with state and local laws.

Schedule

Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
