About the role

Thompson Palm Springs Resort is seeking a friendly and service-oriented Seasonal Server Assistant to join the Lola Rose Grand Mezze team. Since opening in 2024, Thompson Palm Springs has quickly established itself as the desert’s most coveted lifestyle resort in the heart of downtown Palm Springs. Showcasing iconic mid-century modern design, bungalow-inspired accommodations, iconic dining, and vibrant social experiences, the resort has become a sought-after destination for discerning travelers, luxury weddings, milestone celebrations, brand activations, corporate retreats, and high-profile events.

As a Seasonal Server Assistant, you will assist the restaurant, lounge, and bar operations. You will provide support to servers and bartenders in running food and drinks, bussing, and ensure the overall comfort and satisfaction of our guests enjoying the lounge and restaurant. This is a non-exempt (hourly) role with a budgeted rate of $16.90 plus additional gratuity.

Responsibilities

  • Assist servers and bartenders in delivering food and drinks to guests
  • Bus tables and maintain cleanliness in the dining and lounge areas
  • Ensure guest comfort and satisfaction in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • Riverside County’s Food Handler’s Card
  • Must be over the age of 21
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced food & beverage establishment is required
  • Previous experience working in a luxury hotel/resort setting is a plus
  • Refined verbal communication skills
  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment

Pay

The budgeted rate for this role is $16.90 per hour plus additional gratuity. Decisions regarding individual hourly rates will be based on experience and education.
