Seasonal Sanitation Technician

Position Summary

Reporting to the Sanitation Lead, the seasonal sanitation technician will be responsible for daily and weekly sanitation tasks and activities within the department. The sanitation technician should act proactively to ensure smooth and effective operations and report issues to leadership immediately.

Position Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize processing/packaging equipment, floors, walls, ceiling and work areas.
• Handle and prepare cleaning chemicals, sanitizers and chemical concentrations.
• Disassemble, sanitize and reassemble food processing equipment.
• Dispose of waste inside and outside plant.
• Sweep, squeegee and mop floors.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
