Seasonal Sales Support Associate, Short Hills

About the Team

The Hermès Short Hills Boutique opened in 2011 and focuses on providing extraordinary service to clients as a part of the Northern Region. This position will report to a member of the store management team and will work collaboratively with the sales team and selling support teams to support the client experience in a fast-paced, luxury environment.

The Opportunity

The temporary Seasonal Sales Support Associate provides clerical support for both front and back of house operations in the Hermès boutique. The position begins in November and will go through December 31st. This role has no supervisory, budget, or decision-making responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Consistently provide high levels of service to clients within the Hermès standard: prompt and friendly greeting, offer to assist and answer questions, and assistance with wrapping and packaging at point of sale.
• Support the sales team with the selling process: hanging merchandise, returning merchandise to floor, retrieving stock, physical preparation of stock room.
• Organize and prioritize workstation and selling floor to support the sales effort; ensure all items (bags, boxes, note cards, ribbons, stationery, etc.) are stocked at all times; maintain selling floor merchandise standards, straightening, filling in.
• Support Client Service, Concierge, Doorperson, and Greeter/Host activities.
• Support After Sales areas as needed: logging in repairs, contacting clients, maintaining active records.
• Answer phones in a timely manner and exhibit friendly, appropriate customer service.
• All other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Pay

The range for this position is $20.00 – $22.00 per hour. Actual rates are determined based on job, location, and individual experience.
