Seasonal Retail Sales Associates join a fast‑paced, dynamic sales team, building relationships with customers and ensuring their needs are met quickly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Build customer confidence, provide accurate information, and promote products to achieve successful sales.
• Establish professional yet personalized rapport with each customer to close sales and deliver the best customer experience.
• Sell merchandise and provide customer service according to company standards, including greeting and acknowledging customers and demonstrating solid product knowledge.
• Maintain the appearance of the selling floor.
• Perform marketing activities such as opening new Boscov’s charge accounts to meet company goals.
• Accurately and efficiently complete all transactions and paperwork while adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Maintain awareness of advertised merchandise; assist in receiving, folding, straightening, and replenishing stock.

Requirements

• Ability and desire to actively engage customers, sell merchandise, and provide excellent customer service.
• Prior retail sales experience and/or customer service experience (preferred).
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with basic math skills.
• Ability to learn selling skills and operate a POS register and Telxon system.
• Availability to work varied days and hours as required, including extended evening hours and weekends.
