Seasonal Sales Associate (Store 4007)

About the role

The Seasonal Sales Associate supports the store team during peak sales days by providing excellent customer service, participating in store operations, and adhering to GameStop policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with video gaming needs, and promoting additional items.
• Support the shopping environment by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and proper merchandising.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise, and transfer products from the stock room to the front of the store.
• Aid in achieving sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals by collaborating with the store team.
• Address guest questions and concerns promptly, professionally, and courteously, escalating issues as necessary.
• Contribute to inventory control and loss prevention practices, such as awareness of scams and adherence to safety guidelines.
• Adhere to GameStop policies and procedures, including attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethical responsibilities.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.
• Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing personality with strong guest service skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and listen effectively in English; bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred.
• Ability to stand and move throughout the store for at least 8 hours per day.
• Physical ability to bend, stoop, reach, climb ladders, and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Reliability and trustworthiness.
