Pay

16–17 years old: £8.00 per hour. 18+ years old: £12.71 per hour.

Schedule

Seasonal position lasting until 13 February 2027. 8 hours per week.

Our Sales Assistants are the foundation of our stores: a brilliant team at the heart of everything we do. With a focus on creating great experiences, they’re the first to lend a helping hand, always ready to offer support and guidance. Whether it’s finding the perfect item or offering a little inspiration, they make sure every customer leaves with exactly what they came for, and a lasting impression that brings them back time and time again.

Responsibilities

• Customer obsessed – consistently consider the impact of your actions on the customer experience, and strive to deliver joyful experiences in the most effective and thoughtful way
• Tills – offering a friendly and efficient checkout experience; checking everything’s complete and packing fragile items with care so every shopper leaves confident their items will arrive home safely and in perfect condition
• Shop floor – helping shoppers find exactly what they’re looking for (and maybe even something they didn’t know they needed); offering friendly, knowledgeable support that leaves a lasting impression and builds loyalty
• Hosting – when something isn’t available on the shelves, placing orders via iPad for home delivery so no one leaves empty-handed; trained to deliver the Made to Measure service for bespoke curtains and blinds; styling key areas such as bedding displays to inspire customers
• Stock & delivery – taking in deliveries, checking stock, replenishing the shop floor, heavy lifting, updating pricing, recovering the store after busy periods, and keeping displays looking their best while ensuring everything is easy to find, well-presented, and ready to go
