Seasonal Room Attendant- Aspen Sitka

About the Role

Responsible for the daily cleaning of guest rooms and reporting maintenance deficiencies to maintain rooms and suites in compliance with standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to guests and treat coworkers with courtesy and respect.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, state and federal laws, and the Code of Ethics and Standards of Conduct.
• Be punctual and ready for work at the start of the assigned shift.
• Work with staff to ensure prompt service and guest satisfaction.
• Make sound judgments and anticipate guest needs and potential issues.
• Communicate effectively with guests and coworkers to meet special needs.
• Maintain clean, neat, and organized work areas.
• Meet or exceed goals set by Housekeeping Managers.
• Clean rooms to the high standards of the lodge and hotel.
• Properly stock housekeeping carts.
• Report maintenance problems and complete appropriate forms.
• Follow trained procedures for chemical use and cleaning.
• Complete team side work and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Housekeeping experience is preferred.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a positive customer service attitude.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and guests.
• Willingness to work long hours, various shifts, split shifts, holidays, and weekends.
• Knowledge of safe cleaning chemical use and techniques.
• Ability to receive training in bio-hazard material clean-up.
• Ability to lift fifty pounds, bend, lift, fold, and climb stairs with or without reasonable accommodation.
• CPR and/or First Aid training is desirable.

• Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
• Regularly stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
