About the role

Provides direct and indirect patient care in various clinical settings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. Utilizes critical thinking, nursing processes, and compassionate care to ensure high-quality service while respecting patient autonomy and dignity. Performs general nursing duties, patient education, and prioritizes care effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients accurately based on their medical condition.
• Administer prescribed medications and provide age-appropriate care.
• Develop and evaluate patient and family education plans.
• Utilize nursing knowledge to perform treatments and procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members for comprehensive care.
• Assist physicians with procedures and perform technical tasks.
• Address psychosocial needs and communicate with social services for discharge planning.
• Practice cost-effective resource management.
• Prioritize patient safety and promote a safe healthcare environment.
• Commit to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Computer literacy required.
• Valid RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• Preferred certifications include ACLS and PALS.
