Seasonal RN | Full Time | Nights - Spanish Plaines

About the role

UF Health Central Florida Division – Leesburg & Spanish Plaines is seeking experienced RNs for the Market Resource Pool (MRP) to work a seasonal 6‑week assignment supporting patient care across Central Florida. Assignments may float between UF Health Leesburg Hospital and UF Health The Villages Hospital (Spanish Plaines Campus) based on competency and skill level.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the director/charge nurse, utilize the nursing process.
• Facilitate patient care by making nursing assessments and diagnoses.
• Formulate care plans based on diagnoses.
• Implement and evaluate the plan of care.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
• Licensure/Certification: Current Florida Registered Nurse License, BLS, ACLS.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of RN experience.
• Additional: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Pay

• Day Shift: $70/hour flat rate.
• Night Shift: $75/hour flat rate.
• Overtime paid in accordance with FLSA based on a 40‑hour work week.

Schedule

• 6‑week seasonal contract assignment.
• Commitment of three (3) 12‑hour shifts per week.
• Schedule determined in partnership with the unit director.
• Float assignments based on competency and skill level to locations within UF Health Leesburg Hospital or UF Health The Villages Hospital (Spanish Plaines Campus).
• Shifts are not guaranteed, but cancellations are unlikely.
• Former UF Health Central Florida employees must be separated from employment for at least 6 months to be eligible for the Market Resource Pool.
