Seasonal Rights & Clearances Coordinator
Essential Functions
- Research, request, and acquire third-party materials including—but not limited to—photos, footage, newspaper articles, social media posts, podcasts, and other intellectual property.
- Navigate and research archival collections, stock footage libraries, and professional photo agencies to locate hard-to-find materials.
- Serve as a resource for production teams regarding rights, usage restrictions, and clearance options at all stages of production.
- Track, organize, and maintain accurate records for all research and clearance documentation including agreements, invoices, purchase orders, and correspondence.
- Communicate with internal departments to move acquired materials through workflows and deliver them to producers.
- Maintain strong administrative procedures and uphold departmental standards.
- Learn and use internal rights/clearance tracking systems and screening tools.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years dedicated Rights & Clearances or Archival Producing experience.
- Foundational understanding of third-party rights, licensing, and clearances.

- Occasional handling of physical archival materials such as footage reels, tapes, newspapers, and photo collections.
Supervisory Responsibility
- Assist with training and mentoring interns as needed.

$1,200 - $1,400 USD
