Part-Time Rights & Clearances Coordinator

Responsible for researching and fulfilling requests submitted by producers to acquire third-party materials used in programming produced by NFL Films. The role involves close collaboration with in-house producers, post-production scheduling, media administration, and project managers to acquire and license materials for various projects based on set deadlines and budgets.
Responsibilities
- Research and acquire materials (photos, footage, etc.) for inclusion in programming.
- Coordinate with departments to ensure materials are processed and delivered to producers.
- Finalize and file paperwork, including agreements, purchase orders, and invoices.
- File and maintain records associated with research, rights, and clearances.
- Communicate effectively with vendors via phone and email.
- Assist with training and mentoring interns when needed.
- Handle physical materials such as footage reels, tapes, newspapers, and photo albums, including receiving and delivering them within the building.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 1-2 years of research experience.
- 1-2 years of television production experience.
- Strong administrative and research skills.
- Extremely organized with the ability to learn and utilize internal computer systems.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with multiple departments and individuals.
- Able to handle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-production experience.
- Minimum 2 years of Rights and Clearances experience.
- Experience using AirTable.
Pay
$30—$35 USD per hour.
Schedule
Part-time. This role requires onsite presence at an NFL office or stadium location; remote or hybrid options are not available.
