About the role

Aēsop® is seeking a Seasonal Retail Consultant to introduce and sell products through genuine and personalized conversations. The role is customer-focused, commercially driven, and centered on delivering unparalleled experiences. Ideal candidates are passionate about the brand and its values, eager to contribute to a dynamic retail environment, and committed to personal growth. Flexible availability is required, including weekends, and the position is a contract role ending January 16, 2027. Candidates must be available between November 1 and January 16, 2027, with vacation not accommodated during this period. Full availability will be required during specific weekend dates.

Customer Experience

• Connect with customers and understand their needs through storytelling and personalized engagement.
• Craft exceptional and personalized customer journeys, from warm welcome to thoughtful product demonstrations and regimen building.
• Confidently lead customers to the sink/fragrance area, demonstrating recommended products on the customer’s hand.
• Ensure a memorable departure by building lasting relationships through attentive service, offering full regimens or samples, and inviting customers to return.
• Embody Aesop’s values in all actions and seek support for continuous improvement.

Execute Retail Essentials

• Adhere to Aesop’s grooming guidelines and uphold retail standards, ensuring the "five senses" experience is consistently delivered.
• Diligently complete stock, inventory, and store presentation tasks.

What you will bring

• Experience working as part of a customer-focused team, ideally within retail or hospitality, with a keen eye for detail in selling and delivering tailored experiences.
• A merchant mindset, both customer-focused and commercially driven.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in tactile product demonstrations.
• A deep passion for selling premium products and an excitement for Aesop’s offerings, including skincare and fragrance.
• Ability to work on the sales floor for extended periods, walk up and down a flight of stairs and/or ladder as necessary, and lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis.

Pay

Hourly rate of $23.00
