The Seasonal Retail Consultant plays a central role in delivering exceptional customer experiences by introducing and selling products through authentic, personalized conversations.

Responsibilities

• Customer Experience: Connect with customers, understand their needs, and recommend products through storytelling and thoughtful demonstrations. Lead customers to the sink or fragrance area, demonstrate products on their hands, and ensure a memorable departure by offering samples and inviting them to return.
• Retail Essentials: Adhere to Aesop’s grooming and retail standards, ensuring the "five senses" experience is consistently delivered. Complete stock, inventory, and store presentation tasks.

Requirements

• Experience working as part of a customer-focused team, ideally in retail or hospitality.
• A merchant mindset, combining customer focus with commercial drive.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in tactile product demonstrations.
• A deep passion for selling premium products and enthusiasm for Aesop’s skincare and fragrance offerings.
• Physical ability to work on the sales floor for extended periods, walk up and down stairs or a ladder, and lift up to 25 lbs regularly.

Schedule

This is a contract position ending January 16, 2027. Candidates must be available between November 1 and January 16, 2027, with no accommodations for vacation. Full availability is required during specific weekend dates.

Pay

Hourly rate of $23.00 and a generous product discount.
