About the Role

As a Retail Associate, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional experiences for customers. You will warmly greet and assist customers, provide product recommendations, and maintain a clean and organized store environment. This role is essential in delivering outstanding service and representing evo.

Responsibilities

• Create positive and memorable customer interactions, including giving lessons in product use.
• Warmly greet customers, provide prompt assistance, and offer product recommendations.
• Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing customer-facing environments.
• Operate cash registers and process customer payments.
• Efficiently handle will-call orders.
• Manage customer waitlists and communicate estimated wait times.
• Execute store operations tasks, including inventory receiving and processing, ship-from-store, and product restocking.
• Develop technical product knowledge and educate customers about product features.
• Ask strategic questions to help customers find the best product for their needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the retail industry is a plus but not mandatory.
• Willingness to learn about the products and services offered.
• Adaptability, attention to detail, cash handling, communication, conflict resolution, customer service, inventory management, multitasking, product knowledge, and teamwork.

Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems is preferred.

Pay

The base wage for this role ranges from $21.30 to $22.24 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Internal pay equity is also considered. While the full range is listed, hiring typically occurs below the top of the range to allow for professional and financial growth.

Schedule

This is a seasonal position running from mid-October to mid-February, with the possibility of extension. Weekend and holiday availability is required, including peak holiday periods such as Black Friday (the day after U.S. Thanksgiving) and the weeks leading up to and following Christmas. Shifts may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
