Seasonal Retail Associate

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive product knowledge to provide friendly, solution-oriented service.
• Center every interaction around the customer, from greeting to fitting room to checkout.
• Communicate sales and promotions effectively and capture customer emails as part of service.
• Proactively resolve customer concerns with positive, empowered solutions.
• Answer telephones courteously, providing store greetings, directions, and processing orders.
• Assist in receiving, processing, and replenishing merchandise.
• Maintain merchandising, presentation, and display standards to keep the sales floor customer-ready.
• Ensure cleanliness across the sales floor, stockroom, restrooms, cash wrap, and hospitality area.
• Process all register transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and practices.
• Perform additional duties as directed by management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Retail experience preferred but not required.
• Customer-centric mindset with pride in a job well done and ownership of store success.
• Operates with integrity, trust, and excellent communication and listening skills.
• Collaborates effectively as part of a team.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Environmental Factors

• Ability to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day.
• Frequent reaching, bending, and twisting—below waist and above shoulders.
• Repetitive hand-to-finger motions and reaching with hands and arms.
• Frequently lift up to 20 pounds; occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
• Push/pull up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders, reach, and bend.
• Work in temperatures ranging from 50–85 degrees, especially in stockroom areas.
• Use of a computer up to 60% of the time throughout the day.

Pay

$15.00 to $15.50/hour. Compensation is based on location, experience, and qualifications.
