About the Role
As a Seasonal Retail Store Associate at Duluth Trading Company, you will strive to deliver exceptional customer service by embracing our "Go for WOW!" standard. This means treating customers right and creating special experiences by going above and beyond in every interaction.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive product knowledge to provide solution-oriented, friendly service.
- Prioritize the customer in all interactions, from greeting to fitting room to checkout.
- Effectively communicate sales, promotions, and email capture opportunities.
- Proactively resolve customer concerns with positive solutions.
- Answer telephones courteously, providing store greetings, directions, and processing orders.
- Assist in receiving, processing, and replenishing merchandise.
- Maintain merchandising, presentation, and display standards to ensure a customer-ready sales floor.
- Uphold cleanliness standards for the sales floor, stockroom, restrooms, cash wrap, and hospitality area.
- Process register transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and practices.
- Perform additional duties as directed by management.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Retail experience preferred but not required.
- Customer-centric mindset with pride in delivering quality work and ownership of store responsibilities.
- Strong communication, listening, and teamwork skills.
- Operates with integrity and trust.
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Environmental Factors
- Ability to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day.
- Frequent reaching, bending, and twisting (below waist and above shoulders).
- Repetitive hand-to-finger motions and reaching with hands and arms.
- Frequently lift up to 20 pounds; occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
- Push/pull up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders, reach, and bend.
- Work in temperatures ranging from 50–85 degrees, especially in stockroom areas.
- Use of a computer for up to 60% of the workday.

Pay
$19.00 to $19.50/hour. Compensation is based on location, experience, and qualifications.
