About the role

As a Retail Store Associate at Duluth Trading Company, you will strive to deliver exceptional customer service by embracing our "Go for WOW!" standard—treating customers right and creating special experiences through personalized, solution-oriented service.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive product knowledge of the Duluth brand to provide friendly, solution-oriented customer service.
• Prioritize the customer in every interaction, from greeting to fitting room to checkout.
• Effectively communicate sales, promotions, and execute email capture as part of the sales process.
• Proactively resolve customer concerns with positive, empowered solutions.
• Answer telephones courteously, providing store greetings, directions, and processing customer orders.
• Assist in receiving, processing, and replenishing merchandise while maintaining merchandising, presentation, and display standards.
• Ensure the sales floor, stockroom, restrooms, cash wrap, and hospitality areas meet company cleanliness standards.
• Accurately and efficiently process all register transactions while adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as directed by management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Retail experience preferred but not required.
• Customer-centric mindset with pride in delivering quality work and ownership of store responsibilities.
• Strong communication, listening, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team with integrity and trust.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Environmental Factors

• Ability to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day.
• Frequent reaching, bending, and twisting—both below the waist and above the shoulders.
• Repetitive hand-to-finger motions and reaching with hands and arms.
• Frequent lifting of up to 20 pounds; occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds.
• Push/pull up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders, reach, and bend.
• Work in temperatures ranging from 50–85 degrees, particularly in stockroom areas.
• Use of a computer for up to 60% of the workday.

Pay
