Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN)

About the Role

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive patient care in an endoscopy setting, utilizing evidence-based practices, technology, and therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities

• Conducts assessments and develops individualized care plans.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams including physicians and anesthesia.
• Delegates tasks appropriately and ensures patient safety, comfort, and education.
• Revises care plans as needed based on patient progress.
• Maintains professionalism by adhering to legal, ethical, and regulatory standards.
• Documents care accurately and thoroughly.
• Performs physical, social, and psychological assessments.
• Coordinates patient care and manages complex equipment.
• Responds promptly during emergencies and assists with patient transportation.
• Participates in ongoing learning and contributes to a supportive team environment focused on quality and safety in endoscopy care.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Current RN license in the practice state.
• BSN required (less than 12 months’ experience must obtain BSN within 4 years).
• BLS certification.
• Manual dexterity and strong communication skills.
• Ability to manage complex equipment.
