Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing care to patients according to established policies, procedures, and professional guidelines.
• Plans and implements nursing care based on patient needs.
• Documents nursing assessments accurately and promptly.
• Identifies and reports situations requiring further intervention to ensure patient safety and quality care.
• Formulates and communicates a goal-directed plan of care to improve patient outcomes.
• Affirms patient rights and ensures their dignity and privacy are maintained.
• Works collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care.
• Adheres to the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital, promoting quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience within the specific division being hired into and deemed competent to work independently.
• Licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida.
• BLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Preferred National Certification as a Registered Nurse.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Experience in Cardiovascular or Transplant areas is required.

Pay

Minimum Salary: $72.00 per hour

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 6:30am-7:00pm with call responsibilities.
