Seasonal Receiving/ Stock Associates- FT

Boscov’s, a full‑service department store chain with over 100 years of history, is seeking Seasonal Retail Receiving & Stock Associates. In this fast‑paced role you’ll develop relationships with coworkers and ensure each customer’s needs are met quickly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the timely delivery of goods throughout the store.
• Facilitate movement of merchandise to the selling floor and/or stockroom.
• Load and unload trucks; move merchandise manually or with forklifts, dollies, hand trucks, or carts.
• Provide customer pick‑up assistance at the guard booth or within a selling department.
• Maintain a neat and orderly receiving dock area (indoors and outside the building).
• Remove hangers and empty boxes from departments.
• Deliver supplies to the sales floor to support department efforts.
• Assist with set‑up of special sales and events.
• Establish professional, personalized rapport with each customer to deliver the best experience.

Requirements

• Ability and desire to actively engage customers and provide excellent customer service.
• Previous retail stocking experience preferred.
• Forklift certification helpful.
• Strong verbal communication skills with coworkers, management, and customers (including telephone).
• Ability to safely operate a forklift, freight elevator, compactor, skid jack, and baler.
• Must work well with the public (customers).
• Availability to work varied days and hours as required, including extended evenings and weekends.
