Seasonal Radiology Tech

About the role

$45/hour, part-time temporary assignment for 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate correct and acceptable radiographic techniques and positioning while operating all equipment and setting up rooms appropriately for exams ordered.
• Complete patient screening with attention to pregnancy, contrast, and any contraindications; understand and utilize contrast forms for contrast exams.
• Utilize designated communication devices and respond appropriately.
• Demonstrate knowledge of all emergency equipment and supplies.
• Raise concerns related to patient care, patient safety, or patient satisfaction to supervisor and leadership in a timely manner.
• Ensure work area is properly maintained.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college program, technical school, or nursing diploma (Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university recommended).
• 2 years of direct experience (pediatric experience recommended).
• Required certifications:
  • ARRT – R.T.(R) (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers – AHA (American Heart Association)
  • Radiologic Technologist License – Arkansas Department of Health
