Seasonal Quality Control Specialist, Ontario

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of standards outlined in the Lulus Vendor Contract.
• Measure and quality check new and updated products in accordance with the Lulus vendor contract guidelines.
• Assist in coordinating and preparing vendor returns.
• Work cross-functionally with the Receiving, Buying, and Creative teams on product issues.
• Perform other assignments from time to time as requested by the Operations Supervisor to achieve department and company business goals.

Requirements

• 1+ years of Quality Control in a warehouse or retail sales environment required.
• Excellent communication skills: written, oral, and group facilitation.
• Excellent knowledge of punctuation, grammar, and spelling.
• Demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues, supervisors, and managers at all times.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet multiple, sometimes competing, deadlines.
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships both internally and externally.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Drive.
• Ability to apply logical thinking and sound judgment to a wide range of practical problems.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative where needed.

Work Environment

• Duties are performed both inside and outside in varying temperatures including heat, cold, and sometimes wet or humid conditions.
• Exposure to high background noise is probable.

Physical Requirements

• Sitting/Standing/Walking: Approximately 90% of the time is spent in varying work areas; 10% of the time is spent in an office environment.
• Speaking/Hearing: Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with co-workers and subordinates.
• Vision: Ability to visualize items around the work area, assess weights, and judge distances and heights. Good eye-hand/foot coordination.
• Lifting/Carrying: Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs by hand.
• Stooping/Kneeling: Ability to stoop and/or kneel to access locations as needed.
