Position Overview

The Quality Assurance Technician will perform analysis and testing of products to ensure compliance with food and beverage quality standards. They will collaborate with production teams to assist with training on standard operating procedures, place products on hold that fall outside quality specifications, develop corrective actions to release product, and support regular inspections and quality control audit programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine analytical testing on finished and semi-finished products.
• Conduct routine plating for indicator organisms.
• Execute environmental monitoring and swabbing programs.
• Maintain Good Laboratory Practices, including method monitoring and equipment calibration.

Requirements

• Detail-oriented and able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Pay

$24.56 per hour, with an additional $3 per hour for night shifts.

Schedule

2-2-3 non-rotating schedule, with shifts from 5:45 AM - 6:00 PM or 5:45 PM - 6:00 AM.

Duration: Seasonal role lasting up to 13 weeks, with potential for full-time hire.
