Seasonal QA Lab Technician - Day Shift

About the role

As a member of the Quality Assurance Team, you will perform inspections and testing according to Standard Operating Procedures and customer specifications to ensure the quality of finished products.

Responsibilities

• Gather and perform all required finished product testing properly and within all required sample periods.
• Perform all raw product inspections in a timely manner.
• Complete hourly verifications proficiently and report any out-of-specification results to Production and Quality Management.
• Perform weekly GMP compliance checks.
• Participate in solving quality and food safety issues.
• Collect and label all required samples correctly and according to aseptic techniques.
• Provide quality and production paperwork when requested and understand Stahlbush’s SBS system.
• Legibly complete all required documentation.
• Maintain all QA equipment and work areas.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Comply with GMPs and adhere to hygienic zoning practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Science background preferred. Will accept any combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Experience in Quality Assurance, food science, or hands-on lab preferred but not required.
• Must be detail-oriented with very strong math ability.
• Works under direct supervision of QA Lab Lead, QA Lab Supervisor, or QA Lab Manager.

Schedule

Thursday - Saturday, 6 am – 6 pm with rotating Sundays.
