Responsibilities
- Seasonal Property Workers provide friendly customer service and ensure the maintenance and upkeep of areas used by the general public.
- Attendants: Collect revenue from fees and permits, and handle cash/credit card transactions.
- Concessions: Provide customer service at concession stands, sell items, collect fees, and report inventory.
- Housekeepers: Maintain and clean property buildings, restrooms, and facilities.
- Laborers: Perform various duties such as landscaping, mowing, firewood processing, structure maintenance, sign creation, trail upkeep, carpentry, and plumbing.
- Office Assistants: Answer inquiries, provide customer service, assist with operations, and perform administrative tasks.
- Clerks: Handle inventory, stock supplies, report, budget, and assist with other administrative duties.
- Security Officers: Monitor visitor activities, report issues, enforce regulations, and provide security during special events.
- Resale Manager: Manage resale locations, hire/train staff, order and monitor inventory, and work special events.
Requirements
- May work afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- May be required to wear a DNR provided uniform.
- May be required to work with DOC work release crews.
- May need a valid driver’s license.
- May be required to travel to additional properties.
- Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Benefits
This seasonal position does not offer benefits and is limited to 180 working days in an eleven (11) month continuous period.
Pay
The hourly wage for seasonal positions varies, starting at $12.25/hour.
