Responsibilities

  • Seasonal Property Workers provide friendly customer service and ensure the maintenance and upkeep of areas used by the general public.
    • Attendants: Collects revenue from fees and permits, handles cash/credit card transactions.
    • Concessions: Sells location-specific items, handles cash/credit payments, collects fees & permits, reports inventory.
    • Housekeepers: Maintains and cleans property buildings, grounds, and facilities, performs regular deep cleaning.
    • Laborers: Performs various duties based on property needs, such as landscaping, mowing, firewood processing, structure maintenance, sign creation, trail upkeep, carpentry, and plumbing.
    • Office Assistants: Answers inquiries, provides quality customer service, assists with operations and administrative functions.
    • Clerks: Performs a variety of tasks, including inventory, stocking, reporting, budgeting, and assisting with other administrative duties.
    • Security Officers: Monitors visitor activities, enforces regulations, provides security to facilities, construction sites, and logging operations.
    • DOC Crew Supervisors: Monitors Department of Corrections work release crews, participates in labor duties as needed, provides transportation.
    • Shooting Range Officers: Monitors shooting range activities, provides quality customer service and education on safe gun handling, enforces shooting range SOPs, maintains safety.

Requirements

  • May work afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • May be required to wear a DNR provided uniform.
  • May be required to work with DOC work release crews.
  • May need a valid driver's license.
  • May be required to travel to additional properties.
  • Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Benefits

This seasonal position does not offer benefits and is limited to 180 working days in an eleven (11) month continuous period.
