About the role

The hourly rate pay for this position at Scotts/Hawthorne will generally fall between $21.00 - 21.00 per hour and is paid weekly. Seasonal Production Associate (2nd Shift)

Responsibilities

  • Work actively on production lines to manufacture and package high-quality fertilizer products.
  • Safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts (experience preferred, but we will train).
  • Maintain strict adherence to standard operating procedures to ensure daily safety and quality standards are met.
  • Comfortably navigate a physical workspace, which includes being on your feet, climbing multiple flights of stairs, getting on and off equipment, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Work comfortably in a variety of indoor manufacturing environments, including hot, cold, and humid conditions.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Motivated team players committed to a safe workplace culture.
  • Experience: 1+ years of production plant experience and forklift operation experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and basic mathematical skills.
  • Dependable, safety-focused, and excels in a team-driven environment.

Future Full-Time Growth Potential

  • Full-Time Starting Pay: Distribution roles start at $26.05/hr and Manufacturing roles start at $29.40/hr.
