Seasonal Part Time - Snapdragon Stadium Warehouse Porter

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures cleanliness, tidiness and safety of the work environment.
• Loads and unloads products to concession stands and portables.
• Accepts delivery of product to each location.
• Counts and confirms inventory.
• Inspects inventory for damage and faults.
• Communicates errors to relevant parties.
• Marks and labels stock.
• Stores inventory in an accessible manner.
• Loads and shrink wraps stock on pallet(s).
• Buids outgoing loads with forklift, electronic carts and pallet jack.
• Maintain work areas cleanliness and organization.
• Must comply with and ensure continued, consistent compliance with all company policies, and federal, state, and local laws/regulations including but not limited to: employment, safety, and health.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Education, Training and Experience: High School Diploma or GED; plus at least six months of experience in food service/retail operations; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong Interpersonal Skills, Self Motivation, And Organization Skills Required.
• Food Handler certificate from the County of San Diego preferred.
• May involve operating a company vehicle and/or golf cart on university or company property.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and have not been issued more than three moving violations or have been responsible for more than three accidents (or any combination of more than three thereof during the past 12-month period).
• At least 18 years of age and will be required to provide proof of driving eligibility upon hire.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to operate equipment (to include but not limited to) office equipment such as hand carts, electric carts, and golf carts.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk/move, sit, and stand for prolonged hours; handle objects, cooking tools, or controls.
• Must be able to move, lift or carry heavy objects or materials up to 50 pounds.
• Specific visual abilities required by this job include close vision.
