Seasonal Part-time Produce Clerk

About the role
We are looking for an energetic, community-oriented, and experienced individual to work as a Produce Clerk at our Ambler location. This is a seasonal part-time position with an anticipated 20-29 hours per week from September through December. Availability on Saturdays and evenings is required.
Responsibilities
- Receive product deliveries, ensuring order and invoice accuracy.
- Stock, rotate, and cull produce as necessary.
- Maintain back-stock areas according to department standards.
- Maintain produce displays.
- Assist other clerks as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
- Maintain a safe work environment according to all department procedures, federal, and state regulations.
- Wear protective clothing as required for the position.
- Understand and utilize safe lifting procedures and proper step stools.
Requirements
- A commitment to the mission and goals of Weavers Way Co-op.
- Proven customer service or retail experience is a plus.
- Great attention to detail.
- Good communication and people skills.
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- The ability to remain standing for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours.
- Be, or become upon hiring, a member in good standing of Weavers Way Co-op.
Pay
$16.00 per hour
Schedule
Seasonal part-time, 20-29 hours per week from September through December. Availability on Saturdays and evenings is required.
