Part-Time Produce Clerk

Schedule

Part‑time, up to 24 hours per week. Weekend shifts required. Monday‑Friday 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, Saturday 12:00 pm – 8:30 pm.

Pay

Hourly rate $15.00 – $17.00.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to all.
• Receive and stock all incoming fresh fruits, vegetables, and department‑related items.
• Rotate and inspect produce.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date product signage.
• Sustain abundant, fresh displays throughout the department.
• Perform KWF inventory management practices.
• Assist the front end by scanning customers’ groceries and completing all transactions.
• Carefully and efficiently bag groceries.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Full sense range (vision, hearing, sense of smell) to read labels, distinguish color, and assess quality.
• Ability to lift, grip, and carry objects up to 50‑75 lb frequently.
• Ability to stoop, squat, kneel, and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts.
• Ability to walk short distances and stand for prolonged periods.
• Work environment is movement‑based with frequent walking and standing.
• Ability to work in cold environments (cooler, freezer, back‑stock) and handle cold products for extended periods.
