About the role

Casual Package Delivery Drivers drive UPS’s familiar brown trucks, bringing packages to customers’ homes and businesses. They enjoy fast-paced work, being outdoors, and behind the wheel.

Responsibilities

• Deliver packages of all shapes and sizes to homes and businesses in the community and beyond.
• Comply with UPS appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license—no CDL required (license type varies by state).
• Pass the DOT physical.
• Excellent customer service and driving skills.
• Legal right to work in the U.S.

Schedule

• Full-time casual package delivery drivers work eight to ten hours per day.
• Workdays can vary (Monday – Friday) or (Tuesday – Saturday) depending on business needs.

Pay

The base pay for this position is $23.00/hour.

Permanent full-time driver compensation

Permanent, full-time delivery drivers receive an average total compensation package of $145,000 per year. This includes $0 healthcare premiums, up to seven weeks of paid vacation, plus paid time off for holidays, sick leave, and option days. UPS also makes contributions to a defined-benefit pension plan for each employee.
