Seasonal Package Delivery Driver

About the role

Casual Package Delivery Drivers drive UPS brown trucks, delivering packages to customers’ homes and businesses. The role is fast-paced, active, and involves frequent time behind the wheel and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Deliver packages of various sizes to residential and commercial addresses
• Operate company-provided vehicles while maintaining safe driving practices
• Provide friendly, professional customer service at each stop
• Comply with UPS appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform

Requirements

• Ability to lift packages up to 70 lbs
• Valid U.S. driver’s license (CDL not required; license type varies by state)
• Pass the DOT physical
• Legal right to work in the U.S.

Schedule

• Full-time casual shifts are eight to ten hours per day
• Workdays may be Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday depending on business needs

Pay

The base pay for this position is $23.00 per hour.

Permanent, full-time delivery drivers receive an average total compensation package of $145,000 per year, including $0 healthcare premiums, up to seven weeks of paid vacation, paid holidays, sick leave, option days, and contributions to a defined-benefit pension plan.
