About the role

Seasonal Specialty Sales Roles at Target involve providing tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual‑merchandising presentations that inspire guests and build the basket. Seasonal Service & Engagement advocates focus on guest interaction and recovery. Seasonal General Merchandise & Food Sales experts ensure product is set, in‑stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist guests with a helpful attitude.
  • Provide tailored product suggestions and visual‑merchandising support.
  • Accurately handle cash register operations.
  • Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including lifting or moving items up to 40 pounds.
  • Climb up and down ladders as needed.
  • Maintain product set‑up, in‑stock levels, pricing, and signage on the sales floor.
  • Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
  • Follow multi‑step processes with strong attention to detail.

Requirements & Skills

  • Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs.
  • Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow multi‑step processes.
  • Physical ability to lift or move merchandise up to 40 pounds and climb ladders.
  • Flexible availability for nights, weekends, and holidays with regular attendance.
