About the role

Seasonal specialty sales roles at Target involve providing tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and visual merchandising, delivering guest service, and ensuring product is set, in‑stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor. The positions support a guest‑first culture and help develop retail fundamentals such as sales trends, inventory management, and process efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests, delivering service that encourages repeat visits.
• Execute active selling and visual merchandising presentations.
• Maintain product placement, stock shelves, and ensure accurate pricing and signage.
• Handle cash register operations accurately.
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 40 pounds.
• Climb ladders as needed to stock and organize merchandise.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Support daily/weekly workload to meet business priorities and sales goals.
