About the role

Target’s seasonal specialty sales roles involve providing tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising presentations that inspire guests and build the basket. Seasonal service & engagement advocates welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery. Seasonal general merchandise & food sales experts ensure products are set, in‑stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor to deliver a consistent guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored product suggestions and solutions through active selling and visual merchandising.
• Welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations, focusing on interaction and recovery.
• Ensure merchandise is set, in‑stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor.
• Execute daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and sales goals.
• Handle cash register operations accurately.
• Climb ladders and safely scan, handle, and move merchandise, including lifting up to 40 lb.

Requirements

• Skill to resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.

Skills

Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest‑first culture across the store; experience in retail business fundamentals such as department sales trends, inventory management, and process efficiency; experience executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.

Pay

Starting hourly rate: $15.50 USD per hour.

Schedule

Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays) with regular attendance required.
