SEASONAL OUTBOUND LOADER

About the role

As an Outbound Loader, you’ll play a key role in the efficient operations of our Distribution Center, responsible for accurately and safely loading outbound shipments onto trailers.

Responsibilities

• Lift, load, and stack items onto and off conveyors, storage containers, trailers, and pallets.
• Handle cartons frequently throughout the majority of working hours.
• Lift repetitively and handle items weighing up to 75 lbs / 34 kg.
• Follow all facility safety procedures and guidelines.
• Operate and understand warehouse systems and equipment, including Warehouse Management System (WMS), RF scanners, conveyors, and merchandise handling equipment.
• Accurately match and sort merchandise according to established guidelines.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail, follow directions, and apply problem-solving skills.
• Be trained on and operate motorized and non-motorized equipment for merchandise movement.
• Meet productivity standards after completion of on-the-job training.
• Support overall warehouse operations with strong teamwork skills.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, hazardous material handling procedures, and OSHA regulations.
• Work in varying temperatures and stand for extended periods.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Distribution Center.
• Prior experience in outbound loading in a Distribution Center is a plus.
• Flexibility to transition between different job functions based on business needs.
• Ability to work mandatory overtime as required.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures and standing for extended periods.

Pay

The base salary for this position is $19.00 per hour.
