Seasonal Operations Associate - Sherman Town Ctr

About the Role

Do you like working with your hands and staying active? Do the words "order" and "process" get you excited? Do you enjoy making things happen behind the scenes and seeing your work flourish in a store? Well, being a Seasonal Operations Associate might be the position for you! This is an early morning role where you'll work with the task team to perform functions prior to store opening. As a seasonal hire, you'll have a defined employment time period, but you may be offered an employment extension or regular position based on your work ethic and availability.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Maneuver around the store at a fast pace, work with the latest merchandise, and assist customers with questions or requests.
• Executes Pricing and Signing: Change ticket prices and signing on merchandise across the store efficiently.
• Replenish and Restock the Store: Assist sales floor peers and leaders by pulling and preparing merchandise to ensure customers have the styles and sizes they need.
• Receive and Unload Merchandise: Work with co-workers to unload trucks and prepare merchandise in the backroom.
• Backroom Standards: Keep the stockroom safe, clean, and organized.
• On-line jcp.com Pick Up: Find and fulfill orders placed online.
• Merchandise Strategy: Execute plans for placing merchandise throughout the store, maintaining merchandising standards to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
• Participates in a Learning Environment: Absorb new information from peers or training materials on merchandise or business processes.

For paid holidays, associates who are eligible for paid vacation (MTO) are also eligible for eight paid holidays during the calendar year. All store hourly associates scheduled to work on a designated holiday will receive additional compensation.

Pay

Pay Range: USD $12.00/Hr - USD $15.00/Hr.
